If you have difficulty seeing, talking or hearing and it effects your ability to communicate over the phone then YES we are for you. Some residents even qualify for assistance in purchasing their specialized equipment.

Congratulations!


You have decided to join in the Massachusetts Equipment Distribution Program (MassEDP) and will soon enjoy real freedom every time you make a call.


Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be a resident of Massachusetts and have access to residential telephone service.

  • You may be required to provide proof of your residential telephone service.

  • You need to mail your application to one of the disability commissions listed below to have your disability certified.

 

After Part 1 and Part 2 are complete, this application must be sent to the appropriate 
Massachusetts Commission, who will certify your disability.

 

You must have your disability certified by one of the commissions listed below (based on type of disability). 

If your primary disability is Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Mobility, Vision, Speech, Cognitive then you must submit your application to:

If your primary disability is legally blind or deaf/blind then you must submit your application to:

Once your disability is certified by the appropriate commission a representative from our office will contact you to set up an appointment to receive your equipment.
